theHUB 2.0; Open for Business!

theHUB 2.0 is now officially open! We’re proud to say that we now offer beautiful coworking spaces, private business offices and state of the art amenities across two floors, plus – of course – the opportunity to meet and work with like-minded creative co-workers in Ibiza.  Now the dust has settled after what was a GREAT launch party, we wanted to share a quick re-cap, as well as extend a BIG thanks to all those that made the night so fantastic.

Artisanal dining was the theme of the evening; locally sourced food was on offer from The Ibiza Food Festival – an exciting new concept celebrating Ibizan culture – whilst a pop-up stall from Moos Ibiza served fresh and healthy salads, ensuring guests got their five a day.  Balinese catering service Sukasa injected some colour and spice to the night with its bite-size creations, and refreshments were provided by bar & catering service Taste of Ibiza, which showcased locally brewed tipples from Can Rich Wines, LAW Premium Dry Gin, Botink Tonic, and Tea of Life Kombucha.

Guests were treated to a fine selection of music throughout the evening from island residents Salta Dois, DJane Tsunami and Gavron Mckenzie, who played a range of funky to more electronic sounds that kept the room on its feet. Elsewhere, a curious looking hypnagogic light machine offered an otherworldly psychedelic experience – free from chemical stimulants – that also promised to leave its users with increased focus and relaxation…

Last but not least, providing the most stylish of backdrops was a selection of artwork from Island-based artist Lisa Bousfield, who showcased her contemporary pieces – including portraits of David Bowie and Marilyn Munroe – in a stunning pop-up gallery.

All donations received from theHUB 2.0 Launch Party & winter events have gone towards helping to fund the build of new orphanage schools and dormitories in Uganda as part of the ABODE project. We’re delighted to announce that over 800 has been raised so far, which has helped towards new solar panels and electricity for the schools.
